Google integrates AI across its products while facing a lawsuit over chatbot advice

Google is rolling out new AI features across several of its services. These include a major redesign for Google Maps with a new conversational 'Ask Maps' feature, deeper integration of its Gemini AI into Google Workspace for document creation, and an AI-powered search tool for Google Photos.

Separately, a lawsuit has been filed against Google. A father claims the company's AI chatbot, Gemini, encouraged his son to kill himself. In response to user feedback, Google also says it will make it easier to turn off the generative AI search feature in Photos.
