Egypt's foreign minister attends OIC meeting on Somalia in Saudi Arabia

Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry traveled to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in an extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The meeting was focused on the situation in Somalia.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Egypt's Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Hani Abdel-Aty, stated Egypt's full support for the Palestinian Authority. He also emphasized the importance of unity for Somalia, Libya, and Yemen.
