• associates Zelensky with Nazi collaborators and fascism
• foregrounds internal Ukrainian opposition and scandals
• uses mocking or derogatory framing ('clown', 'losing the plot')
• amplifies Russian and allied criticism of Zelensky

The entity is Ukraine's president, and the outlet's stance is toward him as the country's leader; the coverage is uniformly negative, portraying him as illegitimate, incompetent, and a source of conflict.

• Framing EU as weak or divided (e.g., 'seeks figurehead', 'isolation fears', 'unrealistic')
• Highlighting EU's militarization and debt as negative (e.g., 'pitches Arctic militarization', 'raid its own emergency fund')
• Using derogatory or dismissive language (e.g., 'fewer boundaries than the average hooker', 'cheer America’s every land grab')
• Quoting critics of the EU (e.g., Orban, analyst, member states) to undermine EU positions

The outlet consistently quotes EU officials and critics, but the editorial framing and selection of headlines (e.g., #9, #14) show a clear negative stance toward the EU as an entity, not just reporting on its actions.

• Quotes Russian officials as authoritative sources
• Frames Russian actions as defensive or legitimate
• Highlights Western concessions or need to negotiate with Russia
• Portrays Russian security concerns as credible

The outlet consistently treats Russian officials and the country as credible actors, amplifying their statements without distancing language. Headlines that quote Western figures (e.g., Kallas, Trump) are used to show Russia's position as inevitable or justified. The entity's own statements are presented as factual or authoritative, not challenged.

• Quotes third-party insults and criticism of Zelensky
• Frames Zelensky as irrational, desperate, or clownish
• Highlights internal Ukrainian opposition and defiance
• Portrays Zelensky as obstructing peace and alienating allies

The outlet rarely uses its own direct evaluative language, but the selection and framing of third-party attacks (e.g., 'clown', 'fascist regime', 'losing the plot') consistently delegitimise Zelensky. Headlines 10 and 23 offer neutral factual statements, but the overwhelming majority is hostile.

• Quotes Trump's statements as authoritative or newsworthy without distancing verbs
• Foregrounds Trump's actions and demands as assertive or strategic
• Includes positive or legitimising commentary (e.g., Nobel Peace Prize speculation)
• Occasionally amplifies criticism from third parties but does not adopt it as outlet's own voice

Several headlines report Trump's statements neutrally or as fact, and one (22) explicitly suggests a Nobel Prize. However, a few headlines (13, 19, 25) include hostile quotes from others or mocking framing, which slightly lowers confidence. Overall, the outlet treats Trump as a significant, credible actor whose words and moves are reported without systematic delegitimisation.

• Quotes Putin or his aides as authoritative sources without distancing
• Foregrounds Putin's diplomatic initiatives and offers
• Frames Putin as a key player in peace negotiations
• Amplifies Putin's statements on culture, religion, and geopolitics as legitimate

The outlet consistently treats Putin as a credible, proactive leader; even when quoting his criticism of others (e.g., Denmark), the framing is neutral or supportive. No hostile or skeptical language is used toward Putin.

• frames US as aggressive or expansionist (Greenland annexation, tariffs, threats)
• highlights opposition to US policies (Colombia, Mauritius, Greenland rallies, Macron)
• uses distancing or critical framing of Trump's statements (e.g., 'threatens', 'doubles down')
• selectively reports US vulnerabilities (Microsoft rout, Fed speculation)

The outlet's stance is toward the US as a country, not just Trump; coverage is consistently skeptical of US foreign policy and economic actions, but not uniformly hostile—some headlines are neutral or factual. The entity's quoted content (e.g., Trump's own statements) is often critical of others, but the outlet's framing remains critical of the US.

• frames US/Trump as aggressive or threatening toward Greenland
• amplifies Greenlandic and Danish officials' rejections of US demands
• uses language of 'land grab', 'invasion', 'undermining world legal order'
• presents Greenland as a victim of US expansionism

The outlet's stance is positive toward Greenland as a sovereign entity resisting US pressure; the entity is not an actor making claims but a territory being acted upon, so the stance reflects RT's alignment with Greenland's position against US coercion.

• portrays NATO as aggressive (preparing for war, ruining Libya)
• highlights internal divisions and weakness (cracks, reality check, ultimatum exposes problem)
• uses mocking or belittling language (McDonald's employee of the month, nail in coffin)
• frames NATO as a tool of US interests or a failing alliance

The outlet's own editorial voice is consistently critical of NATO, treating it as a problematic, aggressive, or declining entity. Headlines quoting NATO officials (e.g., Stoltenberg) are neutral in tone but selected to show weakness or uncertainty. The entity is not quoted authoritatively in a positive light.
