Press TV · February 2026

• frames US actions as arbitrary, secretive, or illegal
• highlights US failures, scandals, and hypocrisy
• uses negative evaluative vocabulary ('bellicose', 'lifesaving' in scare quotes, 'interference')
• associates US with controversial figures (Epstein, Rothschild, UAE spy) and policies (deportations, war push)

The outlet's stance is uniformly negative toward the US, treating it as a malign actor. Headlines that quote US officials (e.g., Vance, Netanyahu) are framed to expose contradictions or failures, not to grant credibility. No positive or neutral framing of the US appears.

• Quotes Iranian officials as authoritative voices
• Frames Iran as acting from strength and rights
• Highlights Iran's diplomatic and military achievements
• Uses positive or neutral framing for Iran's actions

The outlet consistently amplifies Iranian official statements without distancing language, presenting Iran's positions as legitimate and its actions as defensive or principled. The entity (IR) is treated as a credible actor, even when its statements are confrontational toward others.

• associates Trump with corruption and scandal (UAE spy, Epstein, disappeared girl)
• frames Trump as aggressive and irrational (bellicose, tariff threats, war push)
• highlights opposition and failure (protests, court defeats, policy setbacks)
• uses negative evaluative vocabulary (disappeared, invasive species, lifeless aid)

Headline 17 quotes Netanyahu positively about Trump, but this is a rare exception; the outlet's own framing remains overwhelmingly hostile. The entity's quoted content (e.g., threats, demands) is used to portray him negatively, not to amplify his authority.

• Amplifies Palestinian activist and official statements without distancing
• Frames Israeli actions as violations and crimes
• Celebrates Palestine Action legal victories
• Uses emotionally charged language ('massive', 'huge', 'landmark') for pro-Palestinian efforts

The outlet consistently treats PS (Palestine) as a legitimate cause and its representatives as credible voices, even when they criticize others. The stance is positive toward the entity, not neutral, because the outlet's own vocabulary and selection of stories align with Palestinian perspectives.
