TRUMP25 titles-2Adversarial“consistently hostile and delegitimizing”
Patterns
- Quotes Iranian officials and allies attacking Trump as irrational or weak
- Frames Trump as isolated, failing, and facing domestic opposition
- Uses evaluative language like 'betraying', 'unholy war', 'distortion of reality'
- Highlights Trump's defeats and negative polls
Caveats
Press TV is Iranian state media; the entity is a US adversary, so hostile framing is expected. The outlet's own voice is consistently negative toward Trump, not merely reporting others' criticism.
United States25 titles-2Adversarial“consistently hostile and delegitimising”
Patterns
- portrays US/Trump as aggressive, dishonest, and desperate
- uses negative evaluative labels like 'regime', 'war criminal', 'shameless distortion'
- amplifies Iranian and allied voices that condemn US actions
- frames US as isolated, divided, and losing
Caveats
The outlet's stance is toward the US as an entity, not toward Iran. The coverage consistently delegitimises US actions and leadership, using hostile framing and quoting critics without balancing. The entity is treated as an antagonist, not a neutral actor.

Iran25 titles+2Promotional“celebratory and legitimizing”
Patterns
- Quotes Iranian officials as authoritative voices without distancing
- Frames Iran as strong, resistant, and victim of aggression
- Highlights Iranian military and diplomatic successes
- Uses positive evaluative language ('safe', 'stable', 'unflinching')
Caveats
All headlines amplify Iranian government and IRGC perspectives; no critical or skeptical framing of Iran appears. The outlet treats Iran as a credible, sympathetic actor even when reporting threats or warnings against others.
Lebanon19 titles+1Constructive“supportive and sympathetic”
Patterns
- Hezbollah as active agent of successful military operations
- Hezbollah's actions framed as legitimate resistance
- Israeli actions framed as aggression or desperation
- Hezbollah officials quoted authoritatively without distancing
Caveats
The outlet consistently treats Hezbollah as a credible and legitimate actor, amplifying its military successes and political statements without critical framing. The entity LB (Lebanon) is not directly the focus; rather, Hezbollah is the primary actor. However, since the entity is the country Lebanon, the coverage portrays Hezbollah as the dominant force in Lebanon, and the outlet's stance toward Lebanon is indirectly positive through its alignment with Hezbollah's actions and statements.
Palestine18 titles+1Constructive“sympathetic and legitimizing”
Patterns
- Quotes Hamas officials as authoritative voices on Israeli actions
- Frames Hamas as victim of Israeli aggression and assassination
- Uses 'resistance' as positive descriptor for Hamas and allies
- Amplifies Hamas warnings and condemnations without distancing
Caveats
Hamas is consistently quoted and framed as a legitimate resistance actor; the outlet's own vocabulary ('assassination', 'atrocities', 'treachery') aligns with Hamas's perspective. The entity's quoted content is critical of Israel, but the outlet treats Hamas as credible and sympathetic.
