New Gaza peace board forms as Israel faces pressure over aid and governance

A new international board or council for Gaza's peace process is moving into a second phase, with reports indicating around 20 to 25 countries have agreed to join. The effort appears to be advancing, with discussions happening in places like Davos.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly agreed to join this U.S.-backed initiative. At the same time, the U.S. is pressing Israel to allow a committee of Palestinian technocrats to enter Gaza, while Hamas accuses Israel of evasion and some European countries are considering withdrawing from a separate Gaza coordination center.
