Lukashenko says he supports Trump and may meet with him soon

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told a visiting U.S. delegation that he remains a supporter of Donald Trump. He suggested a personal meeting with the former U.S. president could happen in the near future.

During the talks, U.S. Special Envoy Coale was seeking the release of political prisoners in Belarus. Lukashenko stated there are no political articles in the country's Criminal Code and claimed Belarus is at war with its 'friends' adversaries.
