Iran and Arab ministers to discuss Hormuz navigation deal in Oman

Iranian and Omani foreign ministers spoke ahead of a Monday meeting in Oman where Arab foreign ministers are expected to discuss a new navigation deal for the Strait of Hormuz. Iran and Oman have agreed on details of new entry and exit routes for the strait, but an Iranian official said no signed deal is expected yet. A separate understanding between Iran and Oman does not provide for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Tasnim. Iran's foreign ministry said it does not expect quick results from the Oman meeting.
