Israeli airstrikes kill dozens in Gaza ahead of planned peace meeting

Israeli airstrikes have hit the Gaza Strip, killing at least a dozen people in recent attacks, according to Palestinian civil defense and rescue services. The strikes come just days before a planned meeting of a 'Board of Peace,' which U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly involved in.

The Israeli military said it targeted a 'terrorist' involved in the October 7 attacks and others who crossed a designated 'Yellow Line.' Palestinian sources report the overall death toll in Gaza has now surpassed 72,000 since the war began.
