France bans Israeli minister Smotrich, UK and allies sanction settlers

France has banned Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich from entering the country as part of a coordinated sanctions push. The UK and its allies have also imposed sanctions on Israeli settler groups and individuals in the West Bank over settler violence. The measures target those involved in violence against Palestinians.
