Turkish leader Erdoğan visits Egypt and Saudi Arabia to strengthen regional ties

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan traveled to Egypt and Saudi Arabia for diplomatic meetings. In Cairo, he met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and the two leaders agreed to upgrade their countries' relations to a 'strategic' level, signing cooperation agreements.

Erdoğan also visited Saudi Arabia for talks with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as ties between the two nations continue to improve. During his visit to Egypt, Erdoğan gifted el-Sisi an electric car made by the Turkish company TOGG.
