UK and others push back against US blockade of Strait of Hormuz

UK Prime Minister Starmer announced that Britain will not join the US blockade of Iran's ports in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's President Pezeshkian warned that US threats in the strait will negatively impact global trade, while China urged restraint and backed talks. Iran also denied charging tolls for Indian tankers transiting the strait.
