Migrant boat collision off Greek island leaves 15 dead, survivor arrested

A boat carrying migrants collided with a Greek coast guard vessel near the island of Chios, resulting in the deaths of fifteen people. Autopsies revealed the victims died from head injuries, not drowning.

A survivor of the shipwreck has been arrested by a prosecutor on suspicion of steering the migrant boat. An operation is underway to locate and raise the sunken vessel from the sea floor.
