Russian President Vladimir Putin said he is open to meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but only after a peace agreement is reached. He made the statement while discussing threats from Zelenskyy and messages brought by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The Kremlin later clarified that no formal message from Zelenskyy was delivered.
Separately, at Moscow's Victory Day parade, Putin vowed victory in Ukraine and targeted NATO. Zelenskyy responded by sarcastically "decreeing" that Moscow could hold the parade. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sent a congratulatory telegram to Putin for Victory Day, reaffirming cooperation with Russia.
