Stock markets hit record highs on hopes for end to Iran war

Wall Street's S&P 500 index closed at a fresh record high, recovering all losses since the start of the US-Iran conflict. The rally continued for two weeks as investors grew optimistic about potential diplomatic talks between the US and Iran. Other global markets, including South Korea's KOSPI, also rose following hints from President Trump about more negotiations.
