Oil tankers attacked off Iraq, prompting port closures and rescue operations

Two oil tankers, including a Greek-owned vessel, were attacked in Iraqi waters, killing one person. Iraq announced the closure of its oil ports following the incident and rescued more than 20 crew members from one of the damaged tankers. The country also stated it reserves the right to take legal action over the attacks in its waters.
