Israel halts WFP-Gaza work with Turkish aid group, deports flotilla activists alleging abuse

Israel has ordered the World Food Programme (WFP) to stop working with the Turkish aid group IHH in Gaza. At the same time, dozens of activists from a Gaza-bound flotilla were deported after being detained by Israeli authorities. The freed activists have alleged systematic abuse in Israeli custody, including beatings and sexual assault. Israel denies the allegations, calling them false and politically motivated.
