Iranian authorities announced a series of arrests and a weapons seizure, saying they had dismantled a Mossad-linked network operating during protests in Tehran. The Intelligence Ministry said it arrested two people from the MKO group and a Mossad agent, while the IRGC said it arrested another Mossad-linked operative. Officials, including Foreign Ministry official Araghchi, said there was evidence linking violence against police to Mossad terrorists.
State media reported that 60,000 weapons bound for Tehran were seized. Some international reports said Iran's armed forces were on high alert and that protests and clashes continued in parts of the country, including Tehran.
