US strikes military targets on Iran's Kharg Island, Trump threatens more

The United States conducted a military strike on Iran's Kharg Island, hitting more than 90 Iranian military targets. US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the strikes, and Trump, the former US president, shared video of the operation, stating the military assets on the island were 'totally obliterated.'

Iran threatened retaliatory strikes against oil producers following the attack. Kharg Island is a major hub for Iran's oil exports, but Trump stated the strikes deliberately avoided key oil infrastructure. He also warned that the US might strike the island again 'just for fun' and said the US would soon begin escorting ships through the nearby Strait of Hormuz.
