Airstrikes reported in Iran, causing damage to historic sites

Iranian media reported explosions in the city of Isfahan, which they blamed on airstrikes by the United States and Israel. The reports said the strikes targeted energy infrastructure.

The governor of Isfahan said the strikes caused an estimated $500 million in damage to 21 historic sites in the area.
