Israel carries out airstrikes in Iran, killing commanders and hitting facilities

The Israeli military, the IDF, has carried out airstrikes in Iran, including in the capital Tehran. The strikes reportedly killed senior Iranian intelligence commanders and hit targets like a space research center and an air defense factory.

In response, the IDF has issued evacuation orders for an industrial area in the city of Tabriz, warning of upcoming strikes. The military also says it will ease some restrictions in other areas amid the ongoing conflict.
