Israel carries out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military, the IDF, conducted a series of airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. The strikes reportedly hit weapons storage facilities and other infrastructure belonging to the group.

According to the IDF, the strikes were a response to what it called ceasefire violations by Hezbollah. The military also stated it had issued evacuation warnings for certain areas before some of the strikes. Lebanese health officials reported at least one person was killed in the attacks.
