France launches probe into Israeli treatment of Gaza flotilla activists

France has opened a judicial investigation into allegations of sexual violence, beatings, and humiliation against French nationals who were part of a Gaza flotilla. The probe follows reports of abuse by Israeli forces during the interception of the flotilla. Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot referred the case to the French judiciary.
