Russian gas carrier attacked and sinks in Mediterranean Sea

A Russian liquefied natural gas tanker was attacked in the Mediterranean Sea. Russian officials say Ukrainian unmanned boats, or drones, carried out the attack, which caused the vessel to explode and sink.

Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the incident, blaming Ukraine for the strike. This is described as the first time a Russian LNG tanker has been targeted in this manner.
