Israeli military strikes kill militants in Gaza and West Bank

The Israeli military carried out several strikes in Gaza and the West Bank, targeting armed militants. In Rafah, southern Gaza, an airstrike killed three militants who emerged from a tunnel, with the fate of five others unclear. In central Gaza, four armed militants were killed after approaching troops overnight, and two other Palestinians were killed despite an ongoing ceasefire agreement.

Separately, reports describe Israeli settler-only military units operating in the West Bank, with critics calling them vigilante militias. In a largely symbolic move, Israel also confirmed it will reopen the Rafah border crossing into Gaza on Sunday.
