Iran Rules Out US Talks, Says It Controls Strait of Hormuz

Iran has ruled out negotiations with the United States over the Strait of Hormuz, insisting it still controls the strategic waterway. The strait remains closed after recent tensions, including a halt in US bombing ordered by President Trump. Iran is instead engaged in talks with Oman to restart shipping traffic through the strait. Tehran also reportedly gave a promise to Russia regarding the strait's status.
