Iran launches strikes across Gulf region, hitting targets in multiple countries

Iran carried out a series of military strikes targeting locations across the Gulf region. The attacks hit sites in Kuwait, Dubai, Bahrain, and Iraq, including a Kuwait airport, a radar station in Bahrain, and an Oracle office and data center in Dubai. Debris from an intercepted aerial object also struck a building in Dubai Marina.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated the strikes were in response to what it called attacks by the U.S. and Israel on a power and desalination plant in Kuwait. U.S. forces were involved, with a U.S. F-15 jet crew member being seriously wounded and taken to Kuwait, and videos showed U.S. missiles being launched from Kuwait toward Iran.

The situation involved multiple countries, with the United Arab Emirates commenting on the incident involving its territory. The strikes occurred ahead of a planned speech by President Donald Trump, who provided a health update on the wounded U.S. crew member.
