Senior Iranian military intelligence officials killed in reported US-Israeli strikes

Reports say the intelligence chief of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and his deputy were killed in an attack. Iranian state media and the IRGC itself stated the officials died in strikes carried out by the United States and Israel.

In a separate reported incident, Iranian state media said the country's forces struck the Israeli port city of Haifa, claiming to have injured a newborn, among others. These events represent a significant escalation in the long-running shadow conflict between Iran and its adversaries.
